First, let’s acknowledge that private school education is a choice.  For many, having a car is not a choice. What car you’ll drive and how much you’re willing to spend are choices but to have a car or not is generally not a choice.  Private school is a choice. No matter where you live, there is always a free public school option nearby.

Inspiring Middle School students to be a positive force in their school community

As an Episcopal school, we are called to love and honor one another despite our differences. We are called to practice empathy and understanding toward one another, always pursuing goodness, as well as knowledge. These are lofty goals—especially for middle school students. How do we work toward these goals in our middle school? One of the ways is through our Advisory program!

Some of the closest bonds students develop with faculty and peers are forged through their Advisory group. It helps to ensure each child at our Middle School feels a strong sense of belonging, is known, and is inspired and equipped to be a positive force in our school community and beyond.

Did you know that for the past 25 years, our Middle School students embark on exciting adventures during the week before spring break for the much beloved annual mini-courses? Students choose from a variety of fun, focused, and in-depth courses that combine hands-on field trips and classroom discussions. Courses give students the opportunity to delve deep and learn about their topic in a unique, unforgettable way.

Each year, the mini-courses evolve to fit current trends and students' interests. Our teachers offer something for everyone, reflecting their own skills and interests in art, technology, global cultures, music, science, the outdoors, sustainability, service learning, and more.
